Scarlet Security's guarding operations are managed entirely by people who have heard extensive experience in security industry.

 

Management:

Our managers have been trained in Total Quality management, People management, Health and Safety and more specific, specialist aspects of premises security in the UK. Our management philosophy is based on an emphasis on regular supervision, clear guidelines and guard welfare.

Under the watchful eye of our management team, security officers provide the highest possible standards of service. Scarlet Security Ltd places great emphasis on key areas; training, operational management, personal aptitude, professional skills, recruitment, motivation and administrative support.

Above all we encourage the uppermost standards in performance and pride in the success of the operation in hand.

 

Recruitment:

Scarlet Security's vetting procedures are stringent to the core. Most of our guards have experience in the industry. All personnel, whether full or part-time, are vetted in accordance with BS 7858 and Criminal Record checks are carried out. Reference request letters are sent to all potential new recruits' past employers covering the last five years.

Under no circumstances does a new employee commence their duties until we have completed an initial five-year clearance and ensure they have the right to work in the UK.

Scarlet Security's has internationally recognised ISO 9001 standards establishing it as one of the leaders in its field. This demonstrates our committment to customer servive and quality in delivery.

 

Health & Safety:

Inaddition, Scarlet has HSE stage 1 Assessment accreditation OHSAS 18001 that continously demonstrate our committment to safety and sound environment for our people and customers.

Moreover, Scarlet Security Ltd hold CSCS certification. We have 100% CSCS-carded staff.

It is no longer acceptable to adopt a position of maintaining the status quo. Active efforts are required to ensure that the Company improves its environmental performance, year on year, and we are committed to adopting measures to this end.

Scarlet Security Ltd has implemented an Environmental Strategy Policy and is committed to ensure that this is integrated into Company’s activities.

We will undertake regular audits for energy, water and oil consumption and implement systems and processes to reduce our consumption of electricity, water and oil. We will promote a sustainable purchasing policy by reviewing our purchasing needs in order to reduce the amount of goods purchased which may cause harm to the environment or waste natural resources.

 

Operational procedures:

  • Our management philosophy is based on regular supervision, clear guidelines and guard welfare. We place great emphasis on the calibre of staff deployed to protect your premises. All new guards undertake our comprehensive in-house training course.
  • Prior to the commencement of any service, we undertake a full site survey and risk assessment then, draw up an agreed comprehensive Assignment Instructions to be adhered to.
  • Where necessary, Scarlet Security Ltd installs, without additional charge to our customers, unobtrusive unique coded electronic activating tags at strategic points throughout your site, connected to SCARLET TECH enabling us to monitor the quality of the service provision at all times.
  • All operations are monitored by our Control office, with supervisors required to make check calls at at irregular intervals and unspecified times, particularly during the silent hours, and holidays to monitor the quality of the service provision
  • All employees are appraised every 6 months to determine their goals, professional development opportunities and ensure they continue to meet the Scarlet Security's mission. Staff assessments are carried out monthly, during site visits that are both arranged and random.
